SEN/SEMH Intervention Staff

We are seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Intervention Staff to join our team, working across multiple schools in Calderdale. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The position involves travelling to different schools to provide targeted intervention lessons.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver pre-planned intervention lessons to SEN and SEMH pupils across various schools within Calderdale.
- Travel between schools as required to meet the needs of the intervention schedule.
- Follow lesson plans provided by lead teachers to ensure consistency and quality of education.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils in various educational settings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle due to the travelling nature of the role.
- Proven experience working with SEN and SEMH pupils is essential.
- Suitable for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs), Cover Supervisors, and Teaching Assistants (TAs) with strong relevant experience.
- Strong communication and organisational skills are crucial.
- Flexible and adaptable to work in different school environments.
