This amazing and well-respected special educational needs (SEN) school in Wokingham, Berkshire, is looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in January 2025. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to making a significant difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Support students aged 7-18 in both their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to implement tailored individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist students in managing their behaviour and emotions.
- Motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.
- Must possess a patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
