The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our dedicated teaching staff to provide personalised support to students with a variety of special educational needs. You will assist with classroom activities, offer one-on-one or small group support, and help create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • �? Student Support:

    • Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups to aid their academic, social, and emotional development.
    • Encourage independence and self-confidence through structured activities and personalized assistance.
    • Build a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports student well-being and growth.
  • ?? Classroom Assistance:

    • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver lessons tailored to the needs of our students.
    • Help maintain an organized, safe, and supportive classroom setting.
    • Monitor and report on student progress, providing valuable feedback to the teaching team.
  • �? Additional Responsibilities:

    • Support students during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities.
    • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.
    • Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
Who We're Looking For

  • ? Has experience working with children, particularly in an SEN environment.
