SEN Teaching Assistant - One-to-One Support

Location: SheffieldWorking Hours: Monday to FridayStart Date: As soon as possiblePay Rate: £90-£110 per day

About the Role:

Join a dynamic team at a primary school as an SEN Teaching Assistant, where you'll primarily be working one-to-one with a child in Year 2. This long-term role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the child's educational journey, providing tailored support and fostering an environment conducive to their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised support to a child in Year 2 with SEN.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to implement and adapt learning materials.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
• Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEN is highly advantageous.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting diverse learning needs.
• Effective communication skills, both with the child and the wider school community.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
