About role:

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate: £90-95 per day

Job Type: Full time, Long term

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with diverse needs, both in and outside the classroom. Your focus will be on helping students reach their full potential by providing tailored assistance and guidance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering effective lessons
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Provide individual support to facilitate student learning
  • Monitor student progress and report the findings to the teacher and parents.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures.

  • Previous experience handling special needs children
  • Driving on own to the school is an advantage
