We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Primary School Teacher to join our team.
Job Description: We are looking for a Special Needs Primary School Teacher who has experience working with children with a range of special educational needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual learning requirements of students, helping them thrive academically and socially. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons to meet the needs of students with a variety of special educational needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure all students receive the support they require.
- Assess and monitor the progress of students, adapting lessons and support strategies as needed.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes students' academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure students' needs are met both in and outside the classroom.
- Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring that students are engaged and supported throughout their learning journey.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education and attend relevant professional development training.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is essential.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), preferably in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with additional needs.
- A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
