This role is perfect for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs, including autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and physical impairments.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Create and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and tools to engage and inspire students.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with SEN students in a similar or transferable role.
- Must possess a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
