Randstad Education is currently working with a specialist school in the Luton area supporting young people and children with special education needs. We seek to recruit passionate, confident and patient SEN Teachers to work alongside young people with a multitude of Special Needs.

This is a full time temporary to permanent role available to start ASAP!

Your core Requirements to get this Job:

• Teaching experience & qualifications - PGCE, QTS
• Enhanced DBS on the update service(we can support with applying for a new DBS if required)
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
• Able to reference your recent teaching work (must be able to provide 2 professional references)
• Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm

Some of your prime Responsibilities would include:

• Working with small groups and 1:1
• Assisting pupils with academic tasks
• provide high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally.
• Safeguarding all children
• Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
• Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs.
• Positive outlook, attitude and Knowledge of various teaching methods.
