SEN Teacher

- Daily Rate: £144 - £244 (depending on experience)
We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher for a special educational needs school located within the Ealing borough. This role involves supporting children with autism and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs, specifically within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This Monday to Friday position offers a competitive daily rate and is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are passionate about making a difference in special education.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver tailored educational programs to students with autism and SEMH needs.
- Create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with other educational professionals to plan and coordinate lessons.
- Assess student progress and adapt educational plans accordingly.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss their children’s progress and needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and SEN knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
- Experience teaching students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong understanding of the educational needs of children with autism and SEMH.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices and methodologies.
