SEN Teacher - Prospero Teaching : Job Details

SEN Teacher - Burnley:

Prospero teaching are looking for an experienced SEN teacher to join one of our schools in Burnley. Qualified Teacher status and previous experience supporting SEN is essential for this role. This role is to start as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for providing excellent teaching to pupils of primary age with complex needs, ensuring they are able to reach their full potential.

The Role:

• Developing and delivering engaging lessons
• Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of each individual
• Working collaboratively with other staff and external agencies

Position Details:

• Position: SEN Teacher
• Location: Burnley
• Hours: 8am-4pm
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £145 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• Previous experience supporting SEN within a specialist setting
• Team Teach training would be highly desired
• Qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
