Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role?

A welcoming primary school in Camden are looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis from September 2024

The Role

In this role you will be supporting a girl in Year 6 on a 1 to 1 basis. She has cerebral palsy and needs support with transitions. She also has a visual impairment so has all her work enlarged and uses an iPad to magnify the interactive whiteboard.

She has processing difficulties so she will need work broken down and lots of repetition of key concepts. She requires maths and English support and interventions to help her retain key concepts as she is currently working at a year 4 level. She is a lovely pupil, with no behavioural issues and her family is very supportive. You will work alongside teaching staff and the SEND team to ensure she is safe and supported appropriately.

The School

The school is a welcoming, friendly, two form entry school based in Camden, close to West Hampstead station. The school encourages a love for learning through a rich and broad curriculum and extended activities. You will be working with a friendly staff team who are passionate about children achieving the best possible outcomes.
