Teaching Assistant - KS1 Support in Hilton, Derby

About the Role:

Tradewind Recruitment is pleased to present an opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child in Key Stage 1 (KS1) at a welcoming primary school in Hilton, Derby. This full-time position is set to commence on Monday, 30th September and will initially run through to the end of the autumn term.

The child you will be supporting is non-verbal and will require assistance with personal care, in addition to academic support. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the child has a positive and productive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to a non-verbal child in KS1
• Assist with personal care needs as required
• Support the child with their learning activities and integrate them into the classroom environment
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other support staff to ensure the child's needs are met
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages the child's engagement and development

Pay Rates:

The daily rate of pay will depend on experience, ranging from £90 to £125.
