We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join the onsite SEN provision at a welcoming and inclusive Catholic Primary School. This is a full-time, long-term position, perfect for someone with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
• Work closely with the SEN team and class teachers to deliver personalised learning plans.
• Assist in creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters the academic and personal growth of all students.
• Offer one-to-one and small group interventions to support specific learning and development goals.
• Contribute to the ongoing assessment of pupil progress, ensuring individual needs are met effectively.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
• A strong understanding of strategies to support children with a range of SEN.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• A commitment to working as part of a supportive team to enhance the learning experience for all students.
• Experience within a school or similar educational setting is highly desirable.
