Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Empower and support students with a variety of special educational needs, including those exhibiting challenging behaviours.
• Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive learning space.
• Provide personal care, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene support when necessary.
• Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of classroom teachers.
• Cultivate a nurturing and supportive atmosphere to enhance student engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver holistic care and education.

What They're Looking For:

• Experience with children with special educational needs is a plus, but not essential-the SLT value your dedication and passion above all.
• Ability to manage and respond positively to challenging behaviour.
• Willingness to provide personal care as needed.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for our location and potential off-site activities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
