SEN Teaching Assistant - Blackpool:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a knowledgeable SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil on a 1-1 basis at a lovely primary school near Blackpool. This is to start in January and will be for the rest of the year.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent curriculum knowledge of both core and foundation subjects, with clear communication skills. You will be responsible for supporting a Year 3 pupil on a 1-1 basis. You will be making assessments, managing behaviour, preparing resources and establishing learning areas.

Position Details:

• Location: Blackpool
• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8:15am-4pm
• Start date: January 2025
• End date: Ongoing
• Type of work: Temporary
• Full time/part time: Full time only
• Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
• Team Teach qualification would be highly desired
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification would be highly desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
