SEN Teaching Assistant - Reed : Job Details

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering personalised learning experiences for pupils with SEN.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and support the physical, emotional, and educational needs of pupils.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to support pupil development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience working with children with SEN in a similar or transferable role.
• A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
