We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to help create an inclusive and nurturing environment where every student can achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide individual and group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support classroom activities and help create a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Understanding of SEN strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN support (preferred).
