Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs, helping to create a positive and effective learning environment. This role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities.
• Support classroom teachers in managing student behaviour and promoting engagement.
• Help to create and maintain an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor and report on students' progress and development.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of students.
• A valid driving license and the ability to commute to our school.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent) are advantageous but NOT essential.
