Teaching Assistant (SEN) - PoolePay Rate: £14.61 - £15.38 per hourStart Date: May 2025 (with the possibility of an earlier start)

About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a supportive team dedicated to empowering students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students with learning difficulties, including autism.
• Following individual education plans, behaviour plans, and care plans.
• Assisting with personal care, daily living, and social skills while promoting equality of opportunity.
• Observing, supporting, and providing feedback to students using clear and appropriate communication.

What We're Looking For:We're seeking candidates with:

• A Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ Level 2/3).
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Experience working with students with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• A commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
