Are you a compassionate and resilient individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the experience and dedication to make a meaningful difference in a child's learning journey? If so, we want you to join our supportive and welcoming school in Walton!

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting a pupil in Year 3 with SEN on a 1:1 basis, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
• Supporting the pupil within the schools onsite SEN provision as well as outside of the classroom.
• Liaise with class teacher and SENCO, to create and deliver a tailored working experience.
• Manage challenging behaviours in a calm and empathic manner.

Person specification:

• Experience working with children with SEN is essential.
• Experience and strong understanding of managing challenging behaviours.
• Resilience, patience, and a positive attitude to overcome challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with the pupil, staff, and parents/carers.
