The Role:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.

This role involves working closely with a child who has special educational needs to provide tailored support that encourages academic progress, emotional well-being, and social development.

Your Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil, helping them engage with lessons and achieve their targets.
• Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and support the pupil's emotional needs.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create and adapt learning plans.
• Build a trusting relationship with the pupil to foster confidence and independence.
• Monitor and record progress, sharing updates with the wider team to ensure cohesive support.

• Experience working with children with SEN, such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with pupils.
