SEN Teaching Assistant - South Liverpool

On behalf of a primary school located in South Liverpool, Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. The role involves working closely with teachers to provide one-to-one and small-group support. Successful applicants will need an enthusiastic outlook and prior experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

• Experience working with children with special educational needs
• Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
• A relevant qualification or practical classroom experience
• Ability to follow support plans and assist with learning activities

• Help pupils stay engaged in lessons and build confidence
• Support teachers with classroom tasks and behaviour management
• Provide tailored assistance based on individual learning needs
• Work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals when needed
