SEN Teaching Assistant -Oldham

Do you have experience working with a variety of Special Educational Needs? Are you a compassionate, empathetic Teaching Assistant with school-based experience and Team Teach training? If so, Tradewind are looking for you!

We are recruiting for an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Oldham. You will be working with a child in KS2 with autism, following their EHCP to ensure they hit their learning and development goals. This position is full-time from September, lasting at least until the end of the academic year, and requires specialist experience. For the right candidate, it could result in a permanent contract. Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £85 - £90 per day.

Your duties might include:

Supporting and managing students across key stages with additional needs

Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care

Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

Have a thorough understanding of supporting pupils with SEND

Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
