In this role, you will provide vital support to students in KS2 with Speech and Language needs.Role Overview:Location:DudleyStart Date:ASAPSalary:£80 - £120 per day (depending on experience)What we are looking for:
- Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly those with Speech and Language difficulties. A genuine passion for helping children and supporting their individual learning needs within an educational setting
- A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of a school environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both with children and colleagues.
- Ability to commute reliably to Dudley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for children in KS2 with Speech and Language needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), helping students to meet their learning objectives.
- Help students improve their communication skills through targeted activities and tailored interventions.
- Support the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and providing additional assistance as required.
- Collaborate closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and other staff to ensure a holistic and inclusive approach to learning.
