This is a fabulous opportunity to join an outstanding specialist school. The school is looking for an inspiring SEN Trainee teacher to join their school on a part time (3-4 days a week), term time only basis. This role is needed from Jan/Feb on a permanent basis. This role will require you to teach SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis. This role is a training role and by the end of the programme you will be creating your educational lessons/activities and supporting multiple learners. SEN experience would be beneficial for this role. The school is recognised for offering a sunny disposition and welcomes all with open arms. This school supports SEN children between the ages of 4-16 years offering both a primary and secondary phase. In addition to the national curriculum the school equally supports a vocational route that is designed to meet the pupils' individual interests be that mechanics, beautician, outdoor pursuits, cookery and even forest school. • Relevant childcare, teaching assistant or care experience (Must be able to provide references)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Experience supporting children or adults with SEN needs (desirable)

• Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
• Supporting the educational and general well being of SEN learners
• Promoting, encouraging and creating a fun and engaging learning environment
• Completing the 2 year training programme to become a teacher
