If so, we invite you to apply for the position of SEND Teaching Assistant for a dedicated Pupil Referral Unit in Wolverhampton. As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will support students who require additional assistance due to behavioural challenges and struggle in a mainstream setting. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an engaging and safe learning environment for our pupils. Your responsibilities will include supporting individual students with their educational and emotional needs, implementing personalised learning plans, and fostering positive behaviour through targeted interventions. I am looking for enthusiastic candidates who demonstrate patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to help students overcome barriers to learning. Experience working with children with special educational needs or in a similar educational setting will be an advantage but is not essential, as we welcome applicants with transferable skills and a strong commitment to professional development.
