  • Daily pay £95 - £100 depending on experience

Empowering Learning Ltd are looking to appoint outstanding SEND Teaching Assistants in Southwark London with experience supporting SEND students. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who are hands on and can support students with physical needs; assisting with personal care such as hygiene and feeding, manual handling and assisting with therapy sessions to support students to reach the best of their abilities. The most important quality the school is looking for someone who is strong in the academic area. You will also be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment. We are recruiting:

Teaching Assistant for our Primary and Secondary school. We are now looking for a Teaching Assistant for a full day with lots of experience working with children with autism, PMLD, physical disabilities and general SEND. They will require experience and willing to do personal care.

To be successful for this role you must:

  • Have passion, enthusiasm, and willingness to work in SEND Learning environments
  • Have knowledge and experience with autism and PMLD students or a strong Care background
  • Have worked within the care system to support adults or children.
  • Play a significant role in the students learning journey
  • Additional training such as manual handling, hoisting, PEG feeding and Tube feeding NO essential.
