This role of Senior Account Manager is a permanent position within the Automotive industry, based in Coventry. The successful candidate will manage are clients major contracts and developing new business opportunities.

  • Managing relationships with key accounts
  • P&L responsibility +£10m
  • Working with clients across Europe
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Forecasting sales and reporting on performance
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
  • Mentoring and developing team members
  • International travel

Profile

A successful Senior Account Manager should have:

  • A degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A results-driven approach with the ability to meet sales targets
  • A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
