Job Description :

Senior Account Manager - Purpose Led PR Agency - Third Sector

Harmonic are delighted to partner on an exclusive basis with one of London's most exciting purpose led PR agencies who specialise within the third sector. Following significant growth they are looking to bring in a new SAM who will join the team of 5.

The agency works with influential stakeholders shaping public narratives, and helping to roll out complex reforms. From the bottom up they work with civil society, helping to prepare future leaders and advocating for policy changes.

The agency is now looking for an exceptional candidate to serve as a Senior Account Manager working on a portfolio of multinational clients. This role would include supporting the account lead with a range of prominent international organisations.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 3-6 years of experience, ideally in an agency setting / third-sector advocacy experience.
  • Has an analytical and outcomes-driven approach to working with clients.
  • Has strong writing and copy-editing skills with an ability to deliver compelling, impactful content for clients across a range of different media (from digital to long-form reports).
  • Has significant, proven client management experience and knows how to implement rigorous quality assurance practices across multiple projects.
  • Thrives in an agency or a similarly fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous project deadlines.
  • Is an excellent project manager with an ability to motivate teams to work together to deliver for clients.
  • Has some experience in business development with both existing and potential clients and is keen to learn how to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a fast-paced portfolio of philanthropic, government, political campaign, and NGO clients; ensuring that delivery for those clients remains at a high standard.
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships, in close coordination with the account lead, CEO, and the broader team.
  • Preparing robust strategic guidance based on the findings from research.
  • Developing strategy and managing the execution of communications, political, and advocacy campaigns.
  • Writing content for clients, at a standard that could be delivered to the Communications Director of a large multinational organisation with minimal edits required.
  • Reviewing communications output on behalf of clients, including copyediting, and providing feedback on the work of junior team members.
  • Overseeing reporting for clients, reviewing monthly key performance indicator (KPI) reports and project-based reports developed by the team.
  • Regularly briefing a network of freelancers, including designers, developers, video editors and copywriters.

Salary: £42,000 - £52,000

Location: London, two days per week in central London office
