Senior Accountant - Orka Financial : Job Details

Our client is a growing tech based business who is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant. The role will suit a progressive ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant who is looking to join the UK arm of an ever growing global operation. The Senior Accountant will manage a team of 3 reports and be a No2 role to the Financial Controller. The role will suit a progressive and curious individual who is looking for a role where they can impact real change by looking at existing processes and procedures and seek to improve and enhance them.Responsibilities:· Run month end processes (automate and improve)· Balance sheet reconciliations· Intercompany matching process with Group· Fixed asset and IFRS 16 maintenance, including annual asset review· ONS returns and submission· Cashflow forecasting and cash pooling management· Assist annual audit and statutory accounts process· Reporting and business partnering of indirect cost centres, forecast and budget preparation for these areas· Monitor and keep track of lease agreements· Support property strategy· Support import/export compliance strategy· Identify opportunities for cost saving, synergies and EBIT improvement· Monthly business review presentation collation and distribution· Corporation tax preparation and review· Optimise processes through SAP· VAT returns for both UK and Ireland· Multiple currency transactions· Process flow documentation across financeA salary of £55,000-£60,000 plus benefits.
