Senior Accountant - Butler Rose : Job Details

Butler Rose is delighted to partner with our client, a well-established global organisation, in the search for a talented Senior Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to play a key role in high-level financial services, supporting strategic decision-making at the heart of a global business. As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate closely with senior finance leaders, making a real impact by contributing to essential financial reporting, statutory accounts and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing consolidated financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards.
• Leading the coordination of interim and annual audits, liaising effectively with external auditors.
• Managing fixed asset accounting, ensuring robust policies and procedures are maintained.
• Overseeing financial reporting on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters, partnering with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborating with global teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Staying up to date with accounting standards and regulations, ensuring full compliance.
• Supporting the production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investment valuations.

What We're Looking For:

• A qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial accounting and IFRS.
• Strong expertise in handling complex accounting issues.
• Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent project management skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Advanced IT skills, including experience with finance systems and proficiency in MS Excel.
