Role Responsibilities

• Accounts Preparation & Review: Manage the full accounts process for different business types, including sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs
• Software Skills: Work across Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Kashflow, efficiently handling digital records and manual records alike
• VAT & Tax Preparation: Prepare VAT returns, as well as personal and corporate tax filings, ensuring clients meet their obligations
• Staff Supervision: Lead and support junior team members, fostering development and maintaining team morale
• Deadline Management: Ensure timely and accurate reporting by tracking and meeting all client deadlines

Candidate Requirements

• Qualifications: ACCA/ACA qualified, part-qualified or studying
• Experience: Strong background in accounts preparation and tax work across different business types
• Software Skills: Proficient with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Kashflow
• Leadership: Ability to supervise, mentor, and support junior team members
• Organised & Detail-Oriented: Skilled in managing deadlines and ensuring quality output
• Adaptability: Comfortable working independently and managing a diverse client portfolio
