We’re on the lookout for an AAT or ACCA qualified Senior Accountant with at least 4 years of practice experience in accounts production. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Client Director and provides a clear path for career progression within a supportive and expanding team.

Role Responsibilities

• Preparing accounts for a variety of clients, including those with incomplete records
• Preparing corporation tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
• Reviewing and assisting the junior team with VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks
• Completing bookkeeping and VAT returns for more complex clients
• Assisting clients with the implementation of Making Tax Digital (MTD) and providing software training on platforms like Xero, Freeagent, and Sage
• Supporting Client Managers with managing their client portfolios and ensuring the delivery of top-quality service

Candidate Requirements

• AAT or ACCA qualified with at least 4 years of practice experience in accounts production
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping software (Xero, Freeagent, Sage) and preferably Iris for accounts and tax production
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Confident in communicating with both clients and colleagues at all levels
• Ability to take responsibility and work independently
• A strong team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
