Role Responsibilities

• Client Management: Build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring work is completed efficiently and within deadlines.
• Audit Oversight: Manage all aspects of the audit department, from maintaining procedures to presenting prospective client interviews.
• Accounts and Tax Work: Oversee audits, accounts preparation, VAT, corporation tax, and forecasting.
• Team Leadership: Train, supervise, and appraise audit department staff, ensuring professional development.
• Business Development: Support the firm’s growth by participating in management meetings and marketing activities, including developing the charity sector portfolio.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to professional standards, including audit regulations and office procedures.
• Billing and Workflow: Take responsibility for billing and control workflow to optimise team efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in the charity sector is highly desirable
