Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a Senior Accountant based in Perthshire paying up to £65,000 + bonus & a strong benefits package.

The Role

The position of Senior Accountant is a varied role with exposure to management accounting, financial accounting and transactional finance. The role has a really competent team underneath providing freedom from the processing, and provides excellent oversight visibility.

Alongside BAU finance, the role will provide the opportunity to get involved in some juicy & high profile projects. The key components of the role will include:

• Reporting to and deputising for Divisional Financial Controllers
• Training, development and performance management of part qualified Accountants & transactional finance
• Involvement in high profile projects - systems, process improvement etc.
• Ensuring a robust month & year-end close
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual audit
• Supporting with management & financial accounting
• Assisting with Taxation & VAT returns

On Offer

The role of Senior Accountant is based in Perthshire with fantastic flexible & hybrid working. The position will also offer:

• Up to £67,000 base salary

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage with individuals that meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Accountant, although qualified by experience will also be considered
• Exposure to financial accounting & management accounting
• People management or supervisory exposure, ideally transactional finance & month end
