Senior Accountant - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

Bennett and Game have the pleasure of working with a forward-thinking Accountancy Practice in London, offering hybrid and fully remote working options, allowing them to support nationwide hiring.

They are seeking a qualified Accountant (AAT or ACCA) to join their team. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, reviewing management accounts, preparing year-end accounts, handling VAT returns, and advising on personal tax matters.

You will also engage directly with clients to discuss financial statements and tax planning strategies. Our client is dedicated to providing high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial advice.

• Review and preparation of management accounts, year-end accounts, and VAT returns.
• Handling personal tax matters, including self-assessment tax returns.
• Meeting with clients over Zoom to discuss financial performance and tax planning.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Providing professional financial guidance and support to clients.

• Qualified Accountant (AAT or ACCA).
• Experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
• 5-7 years post qualification experience
• Strong personal tax knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.

• £40,000 - £45,000
