Senior Accountant - TPF Recruitment : Job Details

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be representing a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Chichester in their search for a Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional looking to take on more managerial responsibilities while working closely with a diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
• Oversee junior staff, providing mentorship, training, and technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients through strategic advice and business development initiatives.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Excellent technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
• Ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable.
