Senior Accounts Assistant Role Overview

NC Associates are working with a long established and growing PE backed organisation based in Trafford Park to help recruit an experience Senior Accounts Assistant to help support the wider finance team, As a Senior Accounts Assistant you will have full ownership of the Purchase Ledger function and be involved in all aspects from start to finish reporting directly into the Financial Controller. You will also have exposure to other areas in finance such as month end as well as assisting the other memebers of the finance team with various aspects of finance

Senior Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

• Processing purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders, obtaining authorisation where necessary, coding to the system and resolving any queries
• Supplier statement reconciliation's
• Daily cash reconciliation for multiple currency accounts & credit cards
• Preparing proposed payment runs and uploading payments onto the bank
• Expenses processing & payments
• Supporting the senior management team with month end journals including bank accounts, credit cards and intercompany reconciliations
• Monitor multiple 3rd party portals for new invoices and reports
• Help with process improvements to streamline the AP function 
• Supporting the management accounts team with various duties including accruals, reconciliations

Senior Accounts Assistant Experience Required

• Minimum 5 year's experience working in a similar finance role with extensive experience within purchase ledger
• Experience of end to end purchase ledger
• Dealt with large volume of transactional posting
• Strong attention to detail
• Show initiative and be proactive
• Good time management.
• Good excel skills
