Title: Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: North London (100% office based)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Private medical healthcare + wider benefits

The company:

Our client is a national housing group, head-quartered in North London. They are currently seeking a technically strong Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join their friendly finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices, payroll and employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
• Monitoring the supplier inbox to ensure that all emails are actioned within 48 hours
• Preparation of payment runs and cashflow actualization
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and trade creditors analysis
• Assist in auditor’s queries and requests
• Assisting with ad hoc reporting when required

Role Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Experience with MS Excel is highly desirable
• Good knowledge of accounts payable functions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Candidates must have good Excel skills/analytical skills
