JOB PURPOSE:The Senior Analyst and Data Specialist is a dual role with responsibilities to provide ongoing support for Data Projects through the development of databases, data security,documentation for data related processes. Collaborating with the wider data project team as we develop and implement our new core platform. The Senior Analyst and Data specialist will also be responsible for supporting the Finance Domain for reporting requirements as part of a reporting and analytics team, interpreting raw data and turning it into usable feedback and application for senior stakeholders. The role will report to the Customer Support Director, working closely with the Data Architect, Head of Data and Analytics and the Director of Finance, Risk and Compliance on a daily basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform advanced data analysis on large datasets to extract actionable insights• Interpret trends, patterns, and correlations to support businessdecision-making• Create clear and concise visualisations that communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy• Conduct analysis and investigations across the business Ensuring the outputs of this work are clear, informative and of a high quality whilst making recommendations resulting from the work that can play a key role in determining the decisions made by the business on strategic, tactical, and operational levels• Work with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to identify data-driven business opportunities• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data extraction and analysis• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by developing data validation methods• Establish and promote best practices for data management, storage and security• Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to optimise data pipelines and infrastructure

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data and work with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management, departmental and technical specialists, and front-line customer-facing employees• Extensive SQL skills used within a reporting environment• Familiarity with business reporting software solutions (Power BI preferred)• A passion for data and a desire to use it to make a real difference to the organisation, who enthusiastically makes the case for the importance of data to the organisation and advocates its value as a tool for decision making, performance management and business analysis• Possesses high levels of integrity, professionalism, and a strong desire to learn and develop• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities• Highly detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate work• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines

• Extensive experience in a senior Business Intelligence role, preferably within the finance industry

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).• Experience with data governance and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
