Senior Settlements Analyst - Payment Operations – Treasury Operations – Loan Operations - Banking

Excellent opportunity opens for a Senior Settlements Analyst to join a growing International Banks’ Operations Department in a crucial role. Working in the Settlements Operations team, you will be responsible for executing payment operations functions while providing a high level of customer service. The successful candidate will additionally provide support to the other functions within the Settlements Department (Trade and Loan Operations and Treasury Operations).

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely settlement of all processing requirements with the function
• Inward / Outward Remittances
• Inward / Outward Clearing
• Daily monitoring of incoming / outgoing Swift messages
• Input, verify and authorise SWIFT and BACS payments
• Prepare, input and authorise accounting batch journal (Inward/Outward clearing)
• Print, review and processing of all required daily reports from Intellistor
• Timely investigation & resolution of cash breaks.
• Cash Management production & reporting
• Completion of daily department checklist
• Daily monitoring / handling of sanction screening
• Ensure signing limits are not breached within the department
• Assist with cross-training of staff in line with departments training initiatives.

About you:

• Strong knowledge of Payment Operations along with a general understanding of Treasury Operations & Cash Management and an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a deadline driven environment
• Strong academic background, with first-class inter-personal and communication skills and excellent PC literacy.
• General Office skills
• Good systems skills and knowledge, in particular SWIFT
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Observe proper standards of market conduct.
