Senior Application Support - Banking - eTech Partners : Job Details

A leading commodities trading firm is searching for a senior application support analyst to join their newly formed team within data on a permanent basis.

Experience within a Financial organisations in an application support environment is essential.

Hybrid working with 3 days a week on-site in London

Role:

• Support all of the front office / Trade Floor Products.
• Join a newly formed team - Lots of room for change / improvements. Looking for someone who can take initiative to leave their own mark on things
• Sit as a deputy within the team and play a key role in future growth
• Heavy opportunity for automation driven project work, with opportunity to upskill in Python
• Work in close collaboration with traders, handling queries and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Strong Application Support experience in financial services.
• Scripting experience necessary - any language but needs the mindset of utilising scripting for automation.
• Monitoring tooling experience i.e. Geneos/Nagios/Solarwinds
• Basic SQL i.e. select and nested queries
• Proactive candidate with initiative
