Dentons are in a growth phase, and are looking for a Senior Associate to join their team in either their Wellington or Auckland, office. The Dentons' National Corporate and Commercial Team advises local, national and international clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.

This includes listed companies, iwi, local subsidiaries of multinationals, fund managers, private companies, trusts, and individuals.

As a Senior lawyer in the team, your responsibilities will be multifaceted. Depending on your experience and areas of interest your work could include the following: mergers and acquisitions; domestic and international transactions; business and corporate advisory; capital markets; private equity; venture capital; and/or joint ventures.

You will be part of a dynamic and inclusive team that works in partnership with their clients, where you will get plenty of valuable experience. They are a future focussed firm and that ethos extends to their people too.

Mohou ake | About youThe ideal lawyer will have a minimum of 7 years' experience. You will need to be a strong team player and have a genuine ambition to establish yourself as a recognised professional in the corporate and commercial field. The Partners are seeking someone who enjoys mentoring and supporting other lawyers, has a flexible and proactive approach to work, likes variety, and is focused on fostering strong relationships across the market.
