Role Responsibilities

• Organising the allocation of staff to ensure the right people are working on the right jobs
• Supervising the audit team to ensure deadlines are met and jobs are completed efficiently
• Reviewing audit files and reporting to the Client Director
• Attending client meetings and advising on all aspects of their financial affairs
• Managing clients with turnovers ranging from £5m to £50m
• Preparing tender documents for new clients and overseeing special projects
• Ensuring the team receives the training and experience they need to develop professionally
• Taking responsibility for the quality and completeness of client files and advice

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in managing large audit portfolios, preferably with family-owned limited company clients
• High technical and practical ability in audit, tax, and general business advisory
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor a team
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to make decisions and manage multiple priorities
• Client-focused with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality service
• Experience managing clients with turnovers between c.£5m and c.£50m
