Senior AWS Data Engineer

Hybrid working pattern 2 days per week in the London office

My client, a large global Insurance company, are seeking a talented Senior AWS Data Engineer to join their growing data practice within the UK.

This individual will play a key part in the contribution of the Build out of the new AWS native cloud data products.

This Senior AWS Data Engineer will form part of a new agile team of 6 Data Engineers and will play a key part in mentoring and developing the more junior members of the team.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong experience as Senior AWS Data Engineer
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions in large-scale enterprise environments
• Extensive experience in AWS services, e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, API Gateway
• Strong SQL skills for complex data queries and transformations
• ETL Pipelining experience
• Experience with Python
• AWS Certifications are a plus
• Insurance experience or Financial services experience advantageous
• Must have experience of working closely with business teams and communicating with senior stakeholders.
