Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner closely with key stakeholders, gathering and translating customer needs into actionable requirements, crafting impactful business cases, and implementing prioritized solutions that are cost-effective and aligned with our IT strategy. This role requires someone who can balance meticulous attention to detail with a strategic perspective, working both day-to-day and at management levels to help optimize Foresters Financial's IT investments.

This is a hybrid working pattern, 2 office / 3 home

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges, analyze options, and recommend solutions that align with our strategic goals and architecture.
• Identify and suggest improvement opportunities, driving solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Capture and refine requirements, translating them into epics and user stories, and working with development teams on the Requirements Model.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of business processes, products, system interfaces, and data models.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers to align tasks with joint delivery plans.
• Ensure system deliveries meet business expectations by reconciling them against requirements.
• Support the IT operating model by managing individual workload within the Business Solutions team.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share analytical insights and proposed solutions.
• Mentor junior business analysts, offering guidance and coaching as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in Financial Services.
• Proven expertise in requirements definition and documentation.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently at all organizational levels.
• Solid technical background with proficiency in Microsoft applications and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with third-party software providers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio.
• Knowledge of Financial Services is desirable.
• A BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis is an advantage.
