Job Description :

Due to continued growth, our client, a highly reputable consultancy, is looking to recruit two Senior BAs on a permanent basis. This is an ideal role for any pensions professionals with a systems background looking to step up into a senior role!

Sitting within the Systems team, the Senior BA position has three main aspects: Business Analysis, Project Management & Technology Consulting, and the incumbent will provide a bridge between the TPA business and IT department. You will support production, installations, and configuration of new clients whilst also supporting the existing book.

Business Analysis:

  • Requirements elicitation and analysis
  • Documenting business requirements
  • Developing business cases and supporting IT/development teams
  • Create technical specifications

Technical Consulting:

  • Work closely with the Head of Product and wider technology teams, including offshore developers
  • Decipher any issue or requirements and produce appropriate solutions
  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technology delivery

Project Management:

  • Meeting business requirements on a project portfolio
  • Assist with the project management and coordination of globally distributed delivery teams
  • Lead the project and delivery teams

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the analysis of complex business processes, systems, and workflows
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making and support strategic planning.
  • Define, design, communicate and implement effective, scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives
  • Project management: develop plans, assign tasks, prioritise work, monitor performance, and provide progress updates to the business.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, workshops, and training sessions with internal stakeholders/users, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Assist and supervise team members as required

Person specification:

  • 5+ years relevant experience working as a BA
  • Significant system development experience
  • Good knowledge of the UK Pension Industry and the technology utilised within
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
  • Previous experience project managing or operating in a key role in a team of combined technical skillsets, including design, development, and testing.
  • Experience working in UK pensions administration, with a good understanding of at least one of the third-party administration businesses and ideally experience supporting, configuring, or developing the systems they employ.

Salary : 60000 - 70000
