Description

As the Senior Buyer you will,

• Managing and overseeing the procurement function, supporting professional develop, building engagement, and delivering high performance
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure security of supply, at a competitive price
• Ensure supplier performance is optimised across quality, cost, and delivery metrics
• Monitoring market trends and making procurement decisions based on these trends
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment of procurement strategies, and supporting innovation

Profile

A successful Senior Buyer should have:

• Track record in a managerial role within the Procurement & Supply Chain department
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Knowledge of market trends and the ability to make strategic procurement decisions
• Ideally a working knowledge of a textiles supply base
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
