Then this is the position for you! We are currently recruiting for an established Manufacturing organisation that is looking to bring in a Senior Buyer into their team due to an internal promotion. This role covers a range of responsibilities and will allow the successful person to really get involved in complex contract negotiations from a high level. 

So what would your responsibilities be?

• Developing and implementing regional strategies
• Build relationships with key suppliers
• Evaluate and select new suppliers
• Audit suppliers
• Sourcing raw materials
• Manage Tenders & RFQ process
• Full contract negotiation including pricing, rebate & SLA
• Resolve supplier or product issues

But what experience do you need?

• Over 3 years experience within Manufacturing Direct Buying. 
• Experience buying plastics is highly desirable
• CIPS Qualification is highly desirable but training support is given if you want to become qualified
• You must have full contract negotiation experience including pricing, rebate & SLA
