Our purpose-built care home in Stonehaven provides a welcoming and supportive environment for adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. Home to five incredible individuals aged from their mid-twenties to mid-forties, our residents thrive through meaningful relationships and a wide variety of social activitiesboth at the Bungalow and within the local community.

At CrossReach, we’re seeking a Senior Care Practitioner to join our team and help us create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for those we support.

This role requires flexibility, as you’ll need to be available to cover all shifts, including earlies, lates, weekends, and sleepovers.

As a Senior Care Practitioner, you’ll take on a dual roledividing your time between hands-on care for service users and supervisory responsibilities. You’ll be instrumental in assessing needs, planning personalised support, and inspiring your team to achieve excellence. Guided by CrossReach’s Christian ethos, your work will have a meaningful impact on the lives of service users and their families.

In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of personalised care plans, supervise and mentor staff to maintain high standards of care, and ensure all care is delivered in line with CrossReach’s policies and statutory requirements. Promoting dignity, respect, and equality for all service users will be central to everything you do, while actively contributing to the professional development of your team.

You are a compassionate and organised professional with an SVQ Level 3 or 4 qualification (or equivalent in Social Work or Nursing). You will bring previous management experience, ideally in social care, alongside exceptional communication and time management skills. Balancing compassion with professionalism will be one of your strengths.

Being a Christian and able to work within and uphold CrossReach’s Christian ethos is an occupational requirement for this role under the Equality Act 2010.
